Tennis Ball Machine Not Feeding Consistently? S10 Pro First Checks
Oct 31, 2026
For an Acemate S10 Pro feeding problem, use the current official guide beside you. Distinguish an interruption from a change in landing points. The sequence below organises the manufacturer's rules; it does not diagnose an unknown fault.
Choose the section for your symptom
| What you noticed | Where to begin |
|---|---|
| An interrupted feed | Start with the shutdown and loading sections below. |
| A changing landing pattern | Review the ball-batch guidance below. |
| A warning sign or an unresolved issue | Use the stop guidance and the contact section. |
1. Stop before physical checks
Before moving, cleaning, installing/removing the battery, or troubleshooting a jammed ball, always turn off the machine and confirm that all mechanical parts have completely stopped.
When the device is powered on or operating, never put your hands, hair, or clothing into the ball outlet, the bottom of the ball storage bucket, or near any rotating parts.
If the machine emits abnormal alarms, unusual sounds, smoke, or severe jamming, stop using it immediately.
2. Check the balls and loading
We recommend using standard-sized, dry, yellow pressureless tennis balls.
Never use tennis balls that are severely worn, missing fuzz, damp, wet, cracked, or abnormally sized โ these will easily cause the launching wheels to slip or jam.
We recommend using tennis balls of the same brand, same model, and similar wear level.
Mixing new and old balls, or using balls with inconsistent internal pressure, will cause landing point deviations.
Treat a changing landing pattern separately from an interrupted feed. A consistent batch is not a diagnosis of the mechanism.
The maximum capacity of the ball storage bucket is 100 tennis balls. Do not exceed the top edge of the bucket, to avoid overflow or jamming.
When loading balls, please carefully inspect and remove any foreign objects such as leaves, sand, or grass mixed in.
For a no-launch symptom, the guide adds this check:
Confirm whether there are balls in the ball chamber, and refill with balls that meet the specifications.
Check whether a tennis ball is jammed at the ball outlet.
Before clearing a jam, you must first turn off the machine's power. Never reach inside while the machine is powered on!
Use the guide's access instructions. Do not force an obstruction.
3. Observe a controlled restart only when safe
Do not proceed with an unresolved obstruction, damage or warning sign. Refer to the official operating sequence rather than repeatedly trying the same fault.
When using for the first time or adjusting parameters, always set ball speed, frequency, and spin intensity to the lowest values first. Only increase them gradually after confirming it is safe.
For the no-launch symptom, observe from a safe position:
Check whether the App has successfully sent the command and started the launching program, and observe whether the machine has any startup response (whether the launching wheels have started rotating).
4. Take an unresolved issue to Acemate
If the issue persists after following the troubleshooting steps above, please discontinue use and contact our official support team at: support@acematetennis.com
Non-professionals must never disassemble the product or modify the mechanical structure, circuitry, or firmware.
Prepare a short description: what happened, when it happened and what you noticed in the app. Keep the information together for your conversation with support.
A mixed coaching-bucket scenario
Before the next appointment, set aside suspect balls and assemble a consistent batch according to the rules above. Make a note of what changed. Follow the official procedure for the next attempt; do not treat the change as proof of a repair.
Common mistakes
- Confusing an interrupted feed with a changing landing pattern.
- Continuing a trial when the original warning sign remains.
- Treating a checklist as permission for an improvised repair.
FAQ
What information should I have for the support conversation?
Write down the symptom, the sequence of events and anything shown in the app. Ask which documented step applies next.
How can I describe the sequence clearly?
Start with the first symptom you noticed, then describe what you did next. Keep your observations separate from a guess about the cause.
