For a high-school coach sharing one training station across mixed skill levels, plan player turns before choosing the exercises. Run groundstroke repetitions, serve-plus-one work and human return-of-serve practice as separate blocks. Assign an operator, pause for changeovers and collection, and adapt the current task to the player taking the turn.

Begin with a groundstroke block
Acemate S10 Pro offers 100+ preset drills and supports custom drills for movement, consistency, placement and shot patterns. For a high-school team, choose a familiar task from the current programme: backhands towards a chosen target, followed by recovery towards a coach-chosen starting position. Choose the same placement objective for the group and adjust the task for the current player.
The Acemate App lets S10 Pro users adjust shot settings, landing points and drill sequences. Choose an alternating forehand-and-backhand sequence if movement between shots is the current task. Begin with a single landing target for a player who is still working on preparation and contact. Keep a separate written task card for each group so the coach knows which settings and objective to select next.
S10 Pro custom drills support sequential or random feeds and remote control through the app. Select a known sequence for rehearsing the chosen movement pattern. Choose a less predictable exercise for a player whose task is preparing for the incoming ball and deciding where to send the reply. Keep the coach's observation specific: attempted placement, recovery position or completion of the intended sequence.
Follow with serve-plus-one work
In S10 Pro Serve mode, the player serves to the robot and practises recovery and the next-ball response against its returns. Choose a serving target, a recovery position and an intended placement for the following shot. Let the current player complete that sequence, pause to discuss the coach's observation, then rotate to the next player.
Choose a manageable serving task for players still developing their serve before adding a demanding next-ball objective. Select a placement decision for advanced players to rehearse after recovery, such as keeping the next shot towards the chosen side. Adjust the task around the current lesson rather than making successful completion of every exchange a requirement for the whole group.
For practice reading a human server and returning that serve, organise a separate partner block. Assign the serving and receiving roles, choose the receiving target and rotate those roles under the coach's direction. Schedule this partner block alongside groundstroke repetitions and serve-plus-one work.
Change the task between skill groups
Acemate S10 Pro offers Rally, Drill, Serve, Ball Machine and Battle training modes. Start the beginner group with a controlled feed task and a clear target. For the advanced group, select an interactive exchange or a challenge around a placement decision. Keep the target and rhythm appropriate to the player taking the turn.
In Ball Machine mode, Acemate S10 Pro has an adjustable ball-feed interval of 1–15 seconds. Choose an interval that leaves room for the beginner's preparation and recovery. For the advanced task, change the interval only when the player can complete the intended pattern. Adjust placement, sequence or rhythm deliberately; allow a changeover rather than assuming every change takes a particular amount of time.
Player turns and observation
Acemate S10 Pro holds up to 100 balls. S10 Pro users can start, pause and adjust training through the supported remote controls. Assign the hitting turn, the next player's preparation and a coach-led observation task. Pause the exercise before collecting loose balls or changing the hitting player, then select the next task and resume.
For a private-coach clinic, choose each player's objective before their turn. For an academy with mixed groups, repeat the rotation with a different task card for each group. Schedule instruction, collection and rest alongside active hitting. Keep the waiting and preparation arrangement within the venue's approved setup; organise a partner activity separately if other players need to keep practising.
Acemate S10 Pro lets users review shot landing locations alongside session data. Review a placement observation with the player before choosing the next task. Before purchasing for a team, ask which court arrangement, handling instructions, included equipment and delivery timing apply to your order. Use the planned rotation to ask any remaining equipment questions.
