As I saw in many YouTube reviews, the Acemate Robot is surprisingly good at catching the ball and maintaining a consistent rally. In particular, the upgraded buffer net seems to do a noticeably better job of catching the ball compared to the previous version.

I also really like the app, which allows me to choose from a variety of drills and customize them to fit my practice needs. The practice analysis feature is another aspect that I find very useful and satisfying.

I still need to use it a bit more to fully evaluate it, but overall, I’m very satisfied with the Acemate Robot so far. I believe it can be a great training tool and will help improve my tennis skills significantly.

It's awesome to have a (robotic) tennis partner that moves to the position where the ball lands and returns it from realistic, versatile and interesting angles.

It's great to be and to train and practice specific things without needing to worry about a hitting partner of a compatible skill level. Makes having to picking up balls a lot less frequent. It also makes it a lot easier to teach my own kids and family. It definitely simulates hitting with an actual person a lot more than a standalone ball machine.

I do wish it was possible to use a combination of ball machine and rally mode so I can have the machine continue selecting my balls while still sending them to the programmed location(s). So for instance I could do a drill with the acemate where we both are running back and forth while sending balls only cross court from both backhand and forehand sides. It looks like the new update though has options to select either rally or ball machine mode while sending the balls to different locations. Maybe this is what I was looking for, but I haven't been able to test it yet.

There are a lot of options to choose from in the market. But if you want a dynamic ball machine that can give you drills, provide feedback on returns, advice on how to improve, and rally with you probably won’t find a better option. This thing is amazing. Easy to set up, holds over 80 balls, gives a great workout. It extremely customizable so that I can work on the things I need to for my game. I got mine fairly quickly and really love the design, the app for my phone and the ability for it to catch your returns. If you spend money on coaching it’s very easy to justify the investment. The best is setting up rally mode for your friends and sending them all over the court with shot selection.

I LOVE my ACEMATE! I have had a lobster ball machine previously but this is far superior. I LOVE having a rally partner that doesn’t judge me! :). A couple things i look forward to having improved: Ability to catch the balls. Sometimes they bounce out. We have tried to modify by adding a curtain made with a packing blanket, doesn’t seem to help consistently. I also seem to lose Bluetooth connection quickly with my phone if it’s not really close to the ACEMATE. A holding device for your phone on the the machine might be a good idea? Also, i can’t start the machine from the other side of the net as i lose connection. I’ve also lost one of the 1/4 inch thread through hole/brass core attachments that screw onto one of the posts to hold the net in place. Make sure you tighten frequently to avoid losing them. Finally, my acemate did not come with a pull handle, but i have seen other versions that do have them. I’m sure versions will get better with time. Over all I LOVE it! Brilliant technology!

We were very satisfied with the use of the Robot, training from the beginning as more advanced. The only thing we found bad was the fragility of the telescopic bars that hold the net, they easily damage

I've been using this machine for four months and have accumulated 12.5 hours of training so far. It took some time to get used to the new features, but I can now fully enjoy the different drills and rally modes.

I find the rally mode particularly useful, as it has helped reinforce my forehand and backhand strokes and has definitely improved my game. After months of use, one of the poles broke due to normal wear and tear, but ACEMATE's customer service was excellent. I emailed them and received a replacement set within a week, which was impressively fast.

My only complaint is the battery life—it drains quite quickly and usually lasts less than an hour of play.

We purchased this machine for our 11-year-old twins, and it has been an excellent investment. There was an initial learning curve—both for our kids as they adjusted to using it and for us as we figured out how to set it up effectively—but it has truly been a valuable experience. We are very pleased with the progress we’re already seeing in our sons’ development. Additionally, every time we bring the Acemate to the court, it draws a lot of attention and compliments. Overall, we’re extremely happy with our decision and would highly recommend it to others looking for a worthwhile and impactful investment.

I am able to jump on the court to play tennis anytime! Because of ACEMATE I am playing more tennis and able to keep the rally feel.

This amazing product is getting better and better because of the software updates! It’s unbelievable machine!

I coach tennis at a local high school and we've tried at least 7 different machines. And everyone of them almost made me not want my own. Always something going wrong and you have to stop and fix the issue and/or spend a minute or two manually adjusting the speed, depth and/ or angle. So a lot of time went into adjusting these "big name" machines and took away quite a bit of practice time. Which was a headache. So when I started looking for a ball machine for myself, I had an idea of what I wanted (or hoped for) and what I didn't want. I narrowed the choice to some machines and was about to purchase one until I saw the ACEMATE machine. I liked what it had to offer but was still skeptical as it looked too good to be true. But when I received it a to it out to the court, I was impressed. Hardly, anyone problems, except you might run into some after an update but just tell their customer service (which is top notch) and it's back to its high performance levels. I play tennis all the time and never get blisters but after the first run my I can feel it. It has many programs and many different settings you can me around with, so it has something for everyone. I've tried to teach my wife but it got frustrating most times. She uses the machine and it has helped her out immensely. It's the best machine out there. The repetition helps. The problems I've encountered so far would be the balls getting stuck. But nothing other than that. I just set the program on my phone and play. I received the machine in January 26 and tried the really mode a couple of times but haven't tried it since, but it wasn't something that would be useful if you wanted to rally while striking the ball hard. The machine wouldn't keep up. Maybe they've made that possible now but i haven't used the rally mode since February because there's so many programs to help develop and improve your game. My only wish would be that they could speed the ball up from 60 mph. However, even at the highest speed setting and the highest spin setting there is still some good velocity. Like I've said, I've been playing for twenty years and my wife has been playing for twenty days and we both LOVE AND ENJOY the machine. Make sure you get this one; it's by far the best.

I have really enjoyed using this machine. The catch percentage is more like 50% and you have to aim for the machine to achieve that, I actually like having a target to aim for, expecting it to catch fast balls from one corner to the next is unrealistic. The build quality is great with it mostly being metal, I really like the rally functions but also use the ball machine function for things like overheads and volleys and the accuracy is great. I find that I can get a really efficient training session done in one hour and hit as much as I would with a partner in half the time. I really appreciate that they have a discord to discuss improvements, it really shows their commitment to keep improving the product. I much preferred this to my old ball machine (spinfire pro 2 v2). Get one!

I planned to play for just an hour on my first day, but I ended up staying on court for three. It’s seriously addictive.
